GreenScope is a school-centered community WebGIS that translates Sentinel-2 vegetation-change indicators into field-verification missions for students and nearby residents around SMP Islam Al-Azhar 19 Cibubur.

How it works
Satellite Data Status Loading analysis… Sentinel-2 Surface Reflectance data processed in Google Earth Engine. Satellite indicators are screening evidence, not automatic proof of tree loss or a planting recommendation.

GreenScope turns environmental monitoring into participation. Every anonymous field observation adds ground context to the satellite signal and helps the community distinguish existing vegetation, low vegetation, hard surfaces, and exposed areas.

What GreenScope measures

GreenScope monitors changes in vegetation spectral response and provides a structured way to verify local land conditions. It does not assume that every decrease is caused by tree removal. Field evidence is part of the method.

The school becomes a community environmental anchor: students move from passive awareness to collecting evidence, discussing local conditions, and monitoring whether community actions correspond to measurable environmental change.
